 In the 1940s in the Great Lakes area of a low fantasy United States, witches are driven out of the city of New Haven by mobs. Months after they leave, human children between the ages of 11 to 18 are transforming. They are growing horns, teeth and claws. Remy is one of the afflicted and now, in 1955, they are struggling to get by as the leader of a hidden den of the now called Critters. He is torn between his loyalty to his den and his own family's health and saftey when police presence increases and he finds himself under surveilance. 

Under The Rails is a character driven narritive made with the influence of queer stories. We want to tell a unique story about queer characters with a focus on found family.
This comic was inspired by a fever dream the writer had while exhausted from tech week for a production of Newsies.
